Located in Heatherbrae NSW ****, this role is fundamental to creating a nurturing, stimulating and safe learning environment for young children.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the early development, learning and wellbeing of children in our care, whilst working collaboratively with families and colleagues to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care services.Key responsibilitiesPlanning, implementing and evaluating age-appropriate learning experiences and activities that promote children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional developmentFostering a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to learn and exploreObserving and documenting children's progress, development and learning outcomes in accordance with the Early Years Learning FrameworkBuilding positive relationships with children and their families, maintaining open communication and providing regular updates on progress and achievementsSupporting children's health, safety and wellbeing, including hygiene routines, nutrition and rest periodsCollaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean, organised and stimulating learning space with appropriate resources and materialsResponding sensitively to children's individual needs and supporting those requiring additional assistance or interventionContributing to the development and review of centre policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsEngaging in professional development and staying current with best practice in early childhood educationParticipating in staff meetings, training sessions and team planning activitiesWhat we're looking forA current Early Childhood Teacher qualification or working towards ECTCurrent Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance for New South WalesFirst Aid and CPR certification,
