Our teams take pride in getting the detail right — the flashings, the falls, the junctions that most people never notice but that determine whether a roof lasts.The roleWe're looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Roofer to join one of our crews and start their trade the right way — on real jobs, under experienced tradespeople, learning roofing properly from day one.
You'll be paired with a Leading Hand and senior roofers who'll show you how it's actually done, not just how to get by.This is a great fit for someone who's finished school (or had a crack at something else) and wants a genuine trade, a company that keeps them busy year-round, and a crew that'll actually teach them something.HoursOrdinary hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pmReasonable notice will be given for weekend work wherever possible.This is a five-day week — no RDO cycle.TAFE/off-the-job training days as required by your apprenticeship.What you'll be doingOn the toolsAssist with installing roofing systems (metal roofing, colorbond, tiled, or membrane, depending on the project)Help set out battens, purlins, and substrates ready for roofingLearn to install flashings, guttering, downpipes, and weatherproofing detailsCarry out basic fixings and finishing work under supervisionKeep the site tidy, materials organised,
