This position addresses men's capacity to engage in respectful, non-abusive co-parenting with children's mothers, recognises that children's experience of trauma will impact the rate of possible change, and works collaboratively with other service providers to ensure that children benefit.Your New RoleAs a Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based support to fathers who use family violence.
Key elements of the role include:Conducting initial assessments of group readiness, engagement, safety, and psychosocial support needsFacilitating the 17-week evidence-based and manualised Caring Dads group program with fathers who use family violenceProviding wraparound case management support to fathers throughout their program journeyDelivering case management support to fathers who are not yet ready for group participation or who require additional support outside of the group settingUndertaking ongoing assessments and preparing final reports for program participantsEngaging in Clinical Review sessions and National Communities of PracticeAbout YouTo be successful in this role,
