We're working with a well-established family-run automotive business in Croydon that is looking for an experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join its friendly workshop team.With just five technicians in the workshop, you won't be lost in a sea of job cards — and you'll have your own workshop and working area to get on with the job properly.There are no Saturday shifts.

Your weekends are actually yours.The RoleThis is a hands‐on technician role focused primarily on servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicle brands.You'll be carrying out:Routine servicing and maintenanceComprehensive Vehicle Health Checks using a tabletBrake disc and pad replacementsBrake fluid replacement and correct bleeding proceduresService light and interval resetsGeneral vehicle safety inspectionsSuspension workClutch and gearbox work where requiredOther general mechanical repairs and maintenanceThe role has a low diagnostic requirement, with minimal vehicle disassembly and no expectation that you'll be rebuilding engines before your morning coffee.There are no regular engine rebuilds or complex engine repairs — this is a role focused on quality servicing, maintenance and mechanical work.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced technician who knows their way around a vehicle and doesn't need the Haynes manual to tell them which end of the car is which.You'll need:Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle TechnicianLevel 2 NVQ,



IMI or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or manufacturer-specific accreditationConfidence carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and routine servicing independentlyExperience resetting service lights and service intervalsA full UK driving licenceExperience with these brands?
