We are dedicated to sales and manufacturing of highest quality Cooling Solutions for HVAC, Refrigeration, Data Centres, and Industrial process markets globally and in Australia.SummaryThe Operations & Aftermarket Engineer serves as the safety officer for the business and is responsible for creating, maintaining, implementing, and enforcing Evapco's Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across the business (on premises, on relevant jobsites, etc).
He/she also leads the company's quality assurance/control program and strives to anticipate and eliminate problems before they occur by employing a proactive approach with vendor qualification, root causes analysis, preventative action identification and implementation.
This individual is responsible for generating sales quotations of spare parts and service, processing aftermarket orders, scheduling field service, and supporting the in office team with technical information to execute orders and projects successfully.
Time and effort are also spent supporting other operations personnel with core operational functions such as receiving & dispatch of goods, handling/storage/maintenance/organization of goods, QA/QC inspection of incoming & outgoing goods, product preparation, facilitymaintenance, and field service scheduling.The position will be based at our Riverstone,



Western Sydney facility however sitework may be required.ResponsibilitiesMonitor sales & service emails and prepare parts and project quotes and estimates, including material take-offs, labour costs, and overhead calculationsMaintain accurate CRM sales quotes and records, follow up and customer feedback accuratelyProcessing customer orders, sending order acknowledgment and ensure on time dispatches.Support service scheduling and internal operations with production scheduling, technical support and accurate recording with timely completion of projectsLead the companies Health, Safety and Environmental initiativesEnsuring companies equipment quality standards are met and exceededEnsuring facilities maintenance are followed through and completed in a timely mannerCarry out Quality inspections, testing & assist with daily warehousing processes as requiredComplete administration documents, e.g. Quotations, Order Processing, SWMS, Reports, Warranty, NCR etc. in a timely mannerLiaise with internal and external stake holders to obtain information and solutions to solve problems promptly.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:A recent graduate with a qualification in business administration, HVAC&R;, manufacturing, construction or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience,



with mechanical aptitudeStrong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with an eagerness to learn construction documents, software programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teamsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentA genuine interest in manufacturing, construction industry and commitment to professional developmentRelevant experience in similar customer facing and technical support position in mechanical, HVAC&R;, electrical or plumbing trades is advantageous but not essentialMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Business administration, mechanical qualifications (TAFE) or at least 2+ years' industry experience in mechanical cooling solutions, or experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate during the probation period.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Applicants must be an Australian resident with full working rights, holds necessary certifications, construction card, own transport, NSW drivers & forklift licenses etc.The position is available for an immediate start with competitive remuneration being offered to the right candidate.
