We deliver affordable, sharp fashion to the style-conscious guy and will give you the confidence to go from desk to dancefloor.Our philosophy is pretty simple: we believe every night should end with a good story.We are looking for our next leader who is ready to further their career within a retailer that's passionate about developing and growing their team and styling their customers.ROLE PURPOSETo drive and grow sales and maximise profitability whilst maintaining the highest level of customer standards and operational performance across the retail stores The Assistant Manager provides support to the Store Manager and provides leadership, motivation and coaching to the retail team taking ownership and management to:Achieve sales plans and other nominated KPI's (key performance indicators) targetsAssist in managing wages and base rosters within planAssist with stock management whilst minimizing shrinkage and maximize profit contributionEnhance customer service through team training and leadershipParticipate in driving retail team's development and skillsTo uphold RAG Culture and Values at all times.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAssist in delivery of all retail financial KPI'sMonitor and maximise store performance and profitAssist in effective management of store expenses with a particular emphasis on wages via roster controlEnsure customer service standards and customer satisfaction is maximised at all timesEnsure company policies and training manuals are implemented across the store team, ensuring consistent management of standards and expectationsBuild a culture of positivity, professionalism and robust communication across the store teamIdentify and deliver a commitment to store team training as required during business growthEnsure future internal succession by developing the team through successful hiring, training, coaching, retention, succession planning and team motivationParticipate in recruitment, hiring and induction of team is of the highest possible standard and in accordance with company policies and proceduresEnsure the team are cross-trained ensuring business continuity during periods of leaveEffective stock management through utilising relevant reporting tools, ensuring stock procedures (IBT's/Faulties/Recalls) are managed correctlyPlan time efficiently ensuring adequate time is spent well to manage business and team objectivesAssist in in effective rostering throughout and in the lead up to school holidays and SALE preparation, pre-Christmas preparation.
Ensure 'blackout' dates are being adhered to.Uphold merchandising standards as set by VM to maximise salesActively be involved in seeking further centre marketing opportunities.
