We are recruiting Painting Apprentices on behalf of our members to join their growing teams. Responsibilities n

Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
n
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
n
Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
n
Handling painting and decorating materials
n
Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
n
Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
n
Preparing surfaces for painting
n
Applying paint using brushes and rollers
n
Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray
n

Qualifications nn
Genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
n
A White Card, or ability to obtain one as soon as possible
n




Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
n
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
n
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
n
Ability to follow instructions and take direction
n
Trustworthiness and motivation
n

Preferred Qualifications nn
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Previous painting or construction‑related work experience
n
