The successful applicant needs to:
Demonstrate an understanding of, commitment to and support for the values and ethos of Catholic education and the mission of the Catholic Church.
Demonstrate a solid commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.
Foster positive and skilled relationships with students, staff, families and the wider parish community.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of explicit instruction and the principles of the science of learning.
Create a vibrant, inclusive and engaging learning environment where all students are valued, challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
Implement effective student wellbeing strategies that promote positive relationships, student engagement and robust teacher–student connections.
Use assessment data and evidence-informed practices to inform teaching,



differentiate learning and enable ‘All Children to Achieve Success.’
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaborative planning, working flexibly and enthusiastically as part of a professional learning team.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary learning approaches, the Victorian Curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
Use digital technologies and learning tools creatively and effectively to enhance student learning.

Special Requirements
accredited to teach in a Catholic school or a willingness to achieve accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school;
VIT registration
be familiar with and comply with the school's child-safe policy and code of conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety
capacity to understand and implement Duty of Care and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
