We are currently seeking aMine Ventilation Technicianto join our Underground Mining team at Tropicana Gold Mine, reporting to the Underground Mining Engineer – Projects and Infrastructure.
This role is based at Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
About the Role
Monitor the underground ventilation system to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all employees
Audit ventilation infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved ventilation plans
Prepare and distribute ventilation plans
Provide ventilation-specific input into mine plans and schedules
Complete statutory ventilation surveys of the primary and secondary ventilation networks




Manage the secondary fan register and arrange maintenance and change-outs as required
Assist with underground infrastructure and project work as directed

A C Class Driver's Licence
