Family is the foundation of our business, and we understand the importance of work/life balance and flexibility.Job description duties and responsibilities:Plan menus, seasonal specials and function offerings; estimate food and labour costs; and order food supplies and kitchen stockMonitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation to ensure a consistent standardDiscuss food preparation and service issues with management, kitchen and waiting staff,



and dietary/nutrition requirements where requiredDemonstrate cooking techniques and advise kitchen staff on cooking proceduresPrepare and cook food across all sections of the menu, including seafood and grillExplain and enforce hygiene and food safety regulations, including protected food handling and allergen managementSelect and train kitchen staffFreeze and preserve foods to manage stock and minimise wastagePOSITION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTSWe are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:Relevant AQF Certificate IV in kitchen management, Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma qualification.1-3 years of relevant, full-time employment experience, depending upon qualifications held.Ability to work on a full-time basis essential.
