EMH Industries is seeking an experienced and reliable Welder (First Class) to join our team on a full time basis.
The successful applicant will undertake a range of welding and metal fabrication work and will be required to work accurately from drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.Key responsibilitiesPerform MIG, TIG and other welding processes on various metal components and structuresRead and interpret technical drawings, plans and specificationsPrepare, cut, shape and position metal components for welding and fabricationSet up and operate welding equipment and associated toolsWeld, join and repair metal components using appropriate welding techniquesInspect completed welds to ensure required quality and specifications are metCarry out grinding,



finishing and general fabrication work as requiredMaintain welding equipment and tools in safe working conditionFollow workplace health and safety procedures at all timesWork independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficientlyAbout youRelevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent; or relevant industry experience demonstrating an equivalent level of skillsDemonstrated practical experience in welding and metal fabricationCompetency in MIG and TIG welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsGood knowledge of welding procedures, materials and fabrication methodsAbility to work accurately with attention to quality and detailStrong workplace safety awarenessAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamGood communication and time management skills
