We are working with a leading banking client to recruit an experienced Transaction Monitoring qualified to join their financial crime function.

This is an opportunity to work within a specialist team focused on Transaction Monitoring governance, optimisation, risk and framework management, partnering with stakeholders across the business and financial crime functions.

About the Role:

You will support key Transaction Monitoring governance and risk activities, including data analysis, framework documentation, governance reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting Transaction Monitoring governance, optimisation and risk activities
Analysing large transaction datasets and identifying data quality and control issues
Supporting TM framework reviews and risk-based approaches
Preparing governance papers, committee materials and reporting
Developing and maintaining policies,



procedures and framework documentation
Working closely with 1LoD, 2LoD, Global and business stakeholders

We are looking for someone with:
3+ years' experience in Transaction Monitoring across Governance
Experience in TM governance, optimisation and/or TM risk
Solid understanding of Transaction Monitoring frameworks and risk-based approaches
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query and data analysis
Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation and analysis
Experience preparing governance and committee materials
Experience with policy, procedure and framework documentation
Robust stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and levels
