About UsHitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer focused individual to join our team as a Parts Interpreter.Based in our Launceston branch, the position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality products to our customer base through sourcing parts, managing customer queries and invoicing, as well as warranty support and stock coordination.Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for:Interpreting and processing customer parts requests such as pricing, availability of stock and order enquiriesProviding specialist service to internal and external customers for parts via phone and emailSource and supply parts to meet customer requestsRaise quotes, sales orders and invoices for parts salesExercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detailTo be successful in this role, you will need:Exceptional customer service skills and experienceAn interest in earthmoving parts, components, products, equipment and servicesA developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded but is not essentialIntermediate computer literacy skills e.g. Internet-based applications, MS office and outlookPassion and a positive attitude to deliver the best outcome for our customersHigh Risk Forklift License would be beneficialBenefits - What's in It for you?
