Field Maintenance Representative - Newcastle/country NSWThe Field Maintenance Representative is responsible for servicing and maintaining Britex and Rug Doctor hire equipment across an assigned territory which includes the Newcastle, Maitland, Hunter Valley and into country NSW.
The role ensures optimal equipment performance, strong in-store presentation, and high levels of customer satisfaction, while supporting territory growth and operational efficiency.Key responsibilitiesService, repair, and maintain hire equipment in allocated stores using a company vehicleConduct Test & Tag (PAT testing) every 6 months and accurately record resultsManage machine movements, warranty claims, and escalated technical issuesComplete store visits in line with agreed call cycles and KPI targetsMaintain clean, fully stocked,



and compliant POS displays and equipment standsBuild and maintain strong relationships with store staff and key stakeholdersIdentify and secure recent store opportunities within the territoryCapture store visit data (including photos) via company iPadComplete monthly reporting accurately and on timeManage parts, product, and POS ordering through Jotform appAbout youField experience would be good but not mandatoryProblem-solving skillsPrevious experience maintaining household equipment would assist with this role but handyman skills would be advantageousSelf-starter, fit and ready to work hard, and to learn about the industryExceptional communication skills with a customer service focusFull Australian driving licenceNational Police certificatePre-employment medical check will be requiredFully maintained vehicle, tools & equipmentOn-going trainingMon to Fri work only, no weekend work or overtime38 hours per week / permanent roleWork life balanceOnly Australian citizens or permanent residents need apply
