The Bald Rock Hotel on the Balmain/Rozelle peninsula and one of Sydney's Oldest pubs, is currently seeking talented and dedicated full time Sous Chef for the daily operation of our busy kitchen.Responsibilities:Willing to work within a small close-knit team.Hard working, reliable and honestAssist the Head Chef in menu planning, food budgets and labour costs.High Volume experience with a passion for qualityKeen eye for detail and presentation of foodOversee food preparation.Compliance with Australian Food StandardsSound knowledge of ordering and controlling stock levelsEnsure all kitchen equipment is clean and well maintainedManaging kitchen team rosters and hiring and trainingCertificate IV in commercial cookeryMin 3 years work experience
