Applicants must currently live within a 30-minute commute of the site or be prepared to relocate before commencing employment.About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and experienced MC licensed driver to join our team, transporting fresh produce from Bundaberg to Brisbane.
This role is essential in ensuring timely delivery of quality fresh produce to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate prime mover and semi-trailer combinations for line haul runs between Bundaberg and BrisbaneTransport fresh produce ensuring product integrity throughout the journeyConduct pre-start vehicle inspections and complete daily vehicle check sheetsLoad & unload produce as required,



ensure proper handling & securing of cargoMaintain accurate logbook entries and comply with work diary requirements under NHVR regulationsAdhere to scheduled pickup & delivery times to maintain supply chain efficiencyCommunicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customersReport any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays immediatelyMaintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicleFollow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policiesCurrent (MC) truck licenceRoad ranger gearbox (not essential but highly regarded)Clean driving record with no major traffic violationsExperience in line haul/ interstate driving (produce experience highly regarded)Understanding of chain of responsibility obligationsAbility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as requiredStrong time management and organizational skillsReliable and punctual with a robust work ethicExperience with road ranger gearboxKnowledge of temperature-controlled transportFamiliarity with Brisbane and Bundaberg delivery areasPrevious experience in agricultural or perishable goods transportWhat We OfferModern, well-maintained fleetOngoing work with regular runsSupportive team environmentWe care about your well-being: Free access to 24/7 counselling and support services
