We're on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team on a Full-Time basis (Monday to Friday) at our residential aged care facility in Greystanes.As our Maintenance Officer, you'll take ownership of the facility's upkeep, ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely.
You'll be the go-to person for identifying issues, coordinating repairs, and keeping our environment at the highest standard.What are your key responsibilities?
Carrying out general maintenance and repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building work)Keeping our outdoor spaces looking their best with gardening and grounds maintenance — mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing and general upkeepCompleting planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedulesResponding to reactive maintenance requests across your designated areasMonitoring maintenance works to ensure regulatory complianceActively contributing to Work Health & Safety practices#LI-DNIQualificationsCurrent driver's licenseAbility to work under minimum supervisionaExperience as a Maintenance Person in Retirement Living (preferred)Previousexperiencein either building, fitter and turner, welderor plumber (desirable)What's in it for you?
