Q-Main is a privately owned civil and property maintenance contractor that has been operating since ****.
From our Clontarf depot, we deliver maintenance, repairs and minor works across South East Queensland for government, utility, infrastructure, commercial and insurance clients.
Our work is extremely wide-ranging.
One week you could be completing grounds maintenance and property repairs, the next installing high-security fencing, assisting with roofing works or working alongside our civil crew.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a capable, hard-working General Tradesperson / Maintenance All-Rounder to join our Brisbane team.
We're not necessarily looking for one particular trade.
We're looking for someone practical, reliable and willing to put their hand to whatever needs doing.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors and being part of a crew that gets the job done.
Depending on the project, your work may include:




General property and facilities maintenanceHigh-security fencing and gate installation and repairsGeneral fencing worksGrounds maintenance, mowing, brush-cutting and vegetation managementRoofing and building maintenance worksCarpentry and general building repairsDoors, locks and hardware repairsMinor concreting and civil worksExcavation, trenching and site preparationPainting, patching and finishing worksSite clean-ups and general labouringAssisting trades and plant operators as requiredWorking on government, utility and infrastructure sitesCompleting site documentation and job recordsWorking safely around live operational and high-security environments
Some jobs will be completed independently, while larger projects will involve working as part of a crew.
There are also opportunities for overtime, regional work and Living Away From Home projects for employees who are interested.
About You

Experience in carpentry, construction, fencing, civil works, roofing, landscaping, property maintenance or another trade environment would be highly regarded, but you don't need to tick every box.
A formal trade qualification is an advantage, but isn't essential for the right experienced all-rounder.

Any of the following would be an advantage:

Asbestos Removal or Asbestos Awareness training Roofing experienceFencing experience Civil construction experience Experience working on government, utility, infrastructure or high-security sites
