Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team, working remotely from the Tamworth region and reporting to our Newcastle Branch.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working directly with customers and having the freedom to manage their own day.What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Your day will involve travelling to customer sites throughout the Tamworth and surrounding regional areas to:Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsAttend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirementsComplete preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsMaintain accurate service records and job documentationBuild strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical supportWork closely with the Newcastle Branch and our wider service networkManage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the fieldYou may already know Toyota Material Handling Australia as one of Australia's leading material handling equipment providers – but there's much more to being part of our team.We're backed by Toyota Industries Corporation and have a robust national presence, giving our people the stability and support of a global organisation while still maintaining a strong team culture locally.As a TMHA Technician,

We're looking for a technician who is practical, customer-focused and enjoys solving problems.You'll ideally have:A relevant mechanical trade qualification – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or equivalentExperience working on mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery or similar equipmentStrong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your own workloadGood communication and customer service skillsA current driver's licenceA strong commitment to safety and qualityForklift experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
