We are seeking an experienced Metal Machinist to join our team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment to manufacture and modify precision metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.Key responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipmentRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsSelect appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feedsMachine metal components to required dimensions and tolerancesMeasure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instrumentsPerform turning, milling, drilling,



boring and other machining operationsCarry out routine maintenance and adjustments of machineryIdentify and rectify machining defectsMaintain a protected and clean work environmentFollow workplace health and safety procedures and quality standardsSkills and experience:Previous experience as a Metal Machinist/MachinistAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience operating CNC and/or conventional machineryStrong understanding of machining processes and precision measurementAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality
