As a HR Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, transporting material safely and efficiently to meet our clients' requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards whilst delivering exceptional service on every journey.What you'll be doingOperating and driving heavy rigid vehicles safely and in compliance with all relevant traffic and safety regulationsConducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or defectsEnsuring loads are secured appropriately and transported safely to designated locationsMaintaining accurate logbooks and documentation in accordance with legal requirementsCommunicating effectively with supervisors, clients, and other team members to ensure timely deliveryAdhering to McPherson Plant Hire Australia's safety policies, procedures, and code of conduct at all timesWhat we're looking forA valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence or equivalent qualification relevant to your locationDemonstrated experience driving heavy rigid vehicles in a commercial or plant hire environmentA robust commitment to safety, with a clear understanding of road transport regulations and workplace health and safety requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a teamA professional attitude, reliability, and punctualityThe ability to work independently whilst following company procedures and instructions
