This is a great chance for a skilled fitter who enjoys a hands-on maintenance role and is looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift with a well-established company.
FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essential.The RoleWorking as part of a supportive maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery and equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.
Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned and preventative maintenanceAttending to breakdowns and mechanical faultsDiagnosing and repairing production machineryMaintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and pneumatic equipmentCompleting machinery adjustments,



repairs and changeoversAssisting with maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with production to minimise downtimeEnsuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficientlyAbout YouWe are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Fitter who has:A recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualificationPrevious industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceStrong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExperience with production machinery and equipmentA proactive approach to preventative maintenanceThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA strong commitment to safetyFMCG or food manufacturing experience - highly desirableWhat's on Offer?
