We also value Teamwork and work hard together to collaborate and maintain the personal touches a family owned business provides to staff and guests.About the roleThis is a retail management position responsible for managing and controlling the daily retail operations of the store to ensure effective service and achievement of operational objectives.Key responsibilitiesManaging and controlling the daily retail operations of the store to ensure efficient service and achievement of operational objectivesDetermining product ranges, stock levels and customer service standards based on sales performance, seasonal demand and customer preferencesSelecting, training, rostering, supervising and evaluating the performance of retail staffMonitoring food products, beverages, packaging and other inventory levels and coordinating purchasing, supplier orders and inventory controlMonitoring sales, labour expenses, stock costs,



wastage and other operating expenses against established budgets and financial targetsOverseeing point-of-sale operations, cash handling, banking, daily reconciliations and the maintenance of stock and financial transaction recordsImplementing pricing strategies, product displays, promotional activities and local marketing initiatives in accordance with business requirementsEnsuring attractive product presentation, accurate product information and consistent customer service standardsResponding to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints and implementing measures to improve customer satisfactionEnsuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene and other applicable regulatory requirementsAbout youAt least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in a similar retail management roleAt least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related fieldStrong leadership and staff supervision skillsWell-developed communication and customer service abilitiesGood organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced retail and hospitality environmentSound understanding of stock control, sales performance and daily operational management
