About the roleSmart Start Interlocks is seeking a full time Collections Officer to join our team in Heidelberg West.
As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding interlocks.What you'll be doingProactively reach out to customers with overdue accountsNegotiate and collect payment arrangementsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and payment plansEngage our network & 3rd parties to remove interlocksProvide regular reports on the status of outstanding accounts and collection effortsMaintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with customersContribute to the continuous improvement of the collections functionWhat we're looking forExperience in a collections role preferredStrong communication and negotiation skills,
