Commercial Project Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer/Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Port Macquarie NSW.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your project management capabilities whilst taking on increasing responsibility within the construction industry.
You will work on-site and in our head office overseeing the delivery of construction projects and gaining valuable experience in all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination through to completion.
This role is pivotal in ensuring projects run smoothly, safely and within budget, whilst building the foundational skills required for a successful career in construction project management.What you'll be doingAssisting and learning from our Project Managers both at our head office and on our construction sites.Coordinating and supervising day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines and budgetsMonitoring project progress and reporting on key performance indicators, including safety, quality and schedule adherenceLiaising between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and the main office to facilitate effective communication and problem-solvingUndertaking site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets contractual requirements and industry standardsAssisting with documentation, including site diaries, progress reports, method statements and as-built recordsSupporting the management of project risks,



including identification and mitigation planningParticipating in pre-construction meetings and contributing to planning and programming discussionsEnsuring compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies on-siteAssisting with contract administration, variations and claims managementBuilding relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders to support project deliveryWhat we're looking forAn enthusiastic individual looking for long term employment and career progressionA degree or diploma in Construction Management (or currently studying) or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a construction environmentStrong understanding of construction processes, methodologies and project delivery frameworksExcellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teamsA proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamA current driver's licence and willingness to travel to different sites as requiredA valid white card (Construction Induction Card)
