Job no: ******Work type: PermanentLocation: South BrisbaneAbout the roleMater Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trials Pharmacist to join our Clinical Trials Pharmacy team on a permanent part-time basis working 30hrs per week.In this role you will be responsible for:Supporting Clinical Trials Pharmacy Services throughout the hospital in compliance with hospital policy, relevant Acts, standards and Code of PracticeTo confer with pharmacy, medical, nursing, allied health staff and the Research Secretariat to apply appropriate ethical and scientific principles to approved investigational protocolsPreparation of summary of trial protocol and dispensing procedures for individual studiesDevelopment and implementation of drug accountability forms where appropriateLiaison with investigators and monitorsCollection and analysis of dataOngoing administration activitiesEnsuring adequate supplies and maintaining inventory of receipt and return of suppliesOngoing liaison with investigators and monitorsEnsuring appropriate storage of IP in a secure place under appropriate conditionsRegular monitoring of drug accountability recordsNoting and compliance with protocol amendmentsDispensing / drug accountability activitiesDocument appropriate dispensing and labellingMaintenance of drug accountability / dispensing recordsChecking for protocol adherenceInvoicingInvoicing of CT Pharmacy services via internal accounting softwareClosing Down activitiesClinical Trial Pharmacy Folder archival proceduresDestruction of Investigational Product and associated pharmacy suppliesAbout youTo be considered for this role you must have:Hold a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and be eligible for registration as a pharmacist (AHPRA)Proven experience in the provision of Clinical Trials Pharmacy ServiceWhy Join us?
