Job DescriptionTeam Global Express is seeking a Freight Coordinator / Same Day Consultant to join our Melbourne Airport team in a permanent full-time role.
This is a fast-paced operational role responsible for coordinating urgent and time-critical freight movements across our Same Day and Premium Services network.
Working closely with customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal teams, you will ensure freight is collected and delivered safely, efficiently and on time while providing exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.Coordinate Same Day and Premium Services freight movements from booking through to deliveryAllocate and coordinate jobs with drivers, subcontractors and service providersMonitor freight movements and proactively manage delivery performance throughout the dayTrack consignments and ensure service commitments are achievedCommunicate with customers, drivers and operational teams to provide timely updates and manage expectationsManage operational disruptions, delays and service issues while identifying effective solutionsPrepare customer quotes and process bookings accurately and efficientlyRespond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely mannerManage inbound customer enquiries through dedicated phone queues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of requests and service issuesConduct outbound calls to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate freight movements and provide service updatesManage incoming emails, customer enquiries and service requests through Salesforce, ensuring cases are actioned, updated and resolved within service expectationsEnsure Proof of Delivery and operational documentation is completed accuratelyWork closely with branches,
