We're currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join an upcoming shutdown at Kogan Creek Power Station in regional Queensland.

This is an excellent chance to work on a Tier 1 industrial shutdown , alongside experienced maintenance teams on a major power generation site. Offering excellent hourly rates, overtime, and accommodation or a generous LAFHA, this role is ideal for Mechanical Fitters looking for their next major shutdown opportunity.

About the Role n

As a Mechanical Fitter , you will be responsible for supporting maintenance and shutdown activities across the Kogan Creek Power Station.

n

Duties will include:

n

Mechanical maintenance,



repairs and servicing of industrial equipment
n
Equipment installation, inspection and fault finding
n
Mechanical assembly and component replacement
n
Working alongside experienced shutdown crews to complete critical maintenance works safely and efficiently
n
Following site procedures, safety standards and quality requirements
n

n

You will be part of a skilled industrial maintenance team delivering essential shutdown works within a high-performing setting.

Requirements n

n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
Minimum 2 years' experience working on industrial shutdowns (essential)
n
Previous experience within power generation, mining, oil & gas, heavy industrial or resources environments
n
Strong mechanical maintenance experience
n
Current Working at Heights (completed or renewed within the last 2 years)
n
Current Confined Space (completed or renewed within the last 2 years)
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
n
