GPG Dental is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at our Eight-Mile Plains practice in Queensland.
This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.
As a Dental Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of patient care and clinic operations, working alongside our experienced dental team to deliver outstanding dental services.What you'll be doingAssisting dentists during patient examinations, treatments and surgical proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments according to infection control protocolsTaking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays) under supervisionProviding chairside support to ensure smooth and efficient proceduresRecording patient information and maintaining accurate dental recordsManaging patient flow and scheduling appointmentsEducating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment careMaintaining a clean, hygienic and organised dental environmentAssisting with inventory management and ordering dental suppliesSupporting the reception area and front-of-house operations as neededWhat we're looking forCompletion of a recognised Dental Assistant qualification or equivalent trainingCurrent registration with the Dental Board of Australia (or eligibility to register)Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures in a dental settingStrong communication skills and a professional,
