The successful person will take complete ownership of logistics, proactively managing delays, driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and continuously identifying improvements across the department.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and manage all driver rostersPlan and manage daily delivery runsEnsure all runs are organised and leave on timeContinually review and optimise runs to reduce kilometres, overtime and unnecessary costsEnsure customers receive deliveries within their expected delivery timesProactively manage any delays or delivery issuesManage driver performance, punctuality, presentation and customer service standardsManage vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdownsMonitor driver hours, overtime, fuel usage and vehicle utilisationUse GPS and delivery data to identify opportunities to improve efficiencyAbout youProactive, organised, commercially minded and customer-focusedPrevious experience managing logistics, transport, drivers or a delivery fleet desirableAbility to take complete ownership and identify and implement improvements
