We are seeking a qualified and experienced Solid Plasterer for a full-time, ongoing position.
This opportunity is available due to continued growth and solid demand for our services.
The successful candidate will perform a broad range of plastering tasks to support our projects and uphold our high standards of finish.
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $76,515 per annum plus superannuation, in line with market rates and award conditions.
Standard working hours apply, with potential for overtime depending on project requirements.

Task & responsibilities
Determining plasterboard layout, installing insulation and vapour barriers
Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings, and battens
Preparing and securing corner beads
Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres,



and other plaster fittings
Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smoothing with wet brushes and sandpaper
Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, and render using trowels, levelling and smoothing to uniform thickness
Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfacesCreating decorative textures in finishing coats
Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials
Qualification & experience
Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Solid Plasterer or in a similar role
Relevant trade qualification in plastering (or equivalent) preferred
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
Reliability and punctuality essential
