Cablenet Industries is expanding its civil construction capability and establishing a dedicated Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew.We are currently seeking applications for the following positions:HDD OffsidersThe roles will support telecommunications infrastructure projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria.About the rolesDepending on your position and experience, your responsibilities may include:Operating horizontal directional drilling equipmentTracking and locating drill headsSetting up drilling equipment, tooling and work areasMixing and managing drilling fluidsPotholing and identifying underground servicesInstalling telecommunications conduitsCompleting daily plant checks and site documentationMaintaining equipment and keeping work areas organisedWorking safely around existing underground infrastructureSupporting the crew to complete works efficiently and to a high standardWhat we are looking forFor Drillers and Trackers:Previous HDD experience in telecommunications, utilities or civil constructionGood knowledge of underground services and safe excavation practicesAbility to read plans and understand bore profilesStrong attention to safety,
