About the Role
As a Parking Officer, you will play an important role in maintaining community safety, parking compliance, and local amenity standards.
You will conduct parking patrols, issue penalty notices where required, respond to customer enquiries, and assist with the preparation of evidence and court documentation.
Key Responsibilities




Patrol designated areas and enforce parking regulationsIssue penalty notices and warnings in accordance with legislation and proceduresMonitor school zones and high-traffic areasInvestigate and report parking and amenity issuesPrepare briefs of evidence, statements and court documentationAttend court proceedings when requiredMaintain accurate records and reportsRespond professionally to customer enquiries and complaintsPromote community awareness and compliance with parking regulations
About You
Previous experience in parking enforcement, compliance, local government or a similar regulatory roleKnowledge of Local Government legislation, regulations and policiesUnderstanding of the Road Transport Act ****, Road Rules and related legislationExperience preparing SEINS documentation, briefs of evidence and court proceedings materialStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to deal effectively and professionally with members of the publicProven ability to work as part of a teamFlexible, reliable and responsible approach to workStrong attention to detail and sound decision-making skillsSuccessful completion of training in dealing with aggressive or challenging individualsCurrent NSW Driver LicenceStrong computer literacy and administration skills
