What you'll be doingYou will be responsible for the safe lifting, slewing and placement of precast concrete panels and components, working closely with our formworkers, concreting team, site supervisors and truck drivers.
This is a hands‐on role on a live site, so reliability, communication and a strong safety mindset are essential.You will be required to perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards prior to loading for removal from site.You are expected to maintain a clean and organised work environment whilst adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOverhead crane operationRig precast concrete panels, beams and other components for safe lifting and placementConduct pre-lift risk assessments and inspect all rigging equipment before useWork closely with other precaset workers to ensure panels are placed accurately and safely and labelled accordinglyMaintain a clean, organised and hazard‐free work areaFollow all site WHS procedures and safety standardsCommunicate clearly with supervisors regarding crane operation and site conditionsWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a rigging or dogging role, preferably in the construction or precast concrete industryCurrent Rigging licence (basic or intermediate, RB/RI)
