We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our friendly Accounts team at our Derrimut office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience who enjoys working collaboratively and being an significant part of a successful business.
This is a 6-month fixed-term full-time contract role with the potential for extension.About the RoleReporting to the Accounts Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while helping maintain the smooth operation of our accounts payable function.You'll work closely with internal departments and suppliers, building strong relationships while ensuring processes are efficient and accurate.What You'll Be DoingEntering invoices into the accounting systemProcessing electronic payments on a weekly/monthly basisReconciling supplier statements and accountsAssisting with month-end reporting and administrationInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepanciesResponding to supplier enquiries and maintaining positive relationshipsMaintaining accurate supplier recordsSupporting audits through accurate record keepingSupporting Major Accounts payable tasksIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and efficienciesWhat We're Looking ForYou don't need to tick every box, but you'll ideally have:Previous experience in accounts administration or accounts payableStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood numerical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA positive attitude and willingness to learnExperience with Dealer Management Systems will be highly regarded.About CMVCMV Truck & Bus Derrimut is a flagship dealership that is part of the family-owned CMV Group, a proudly Australian business with over 91 years of success.
