CGH HOTEL GROUP T/A Queensland Hotel – Miles QLDWe are seeking an experienced Chef to join the culinary team at Queensland Hotel, part of the CGH Hotel Group.
This is a full-time position based in Miles, QLD ****.
As Chef, you will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food standards, and delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.
This role is pivotal in upholding the reputation and quality standards of our hospitality establishment.
We will provided sponsorship for the right person.Key responsibilitiesPlan, prepare and cook a diverse range of high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and culinary standardsOversee kitchen operations and ensure all food is prepared safely, efficiently and to the required standardManage food costs and inventory, including stock control and ordering of ingredientsMaintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all timesTrain, supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and performanceDevelop and refine menus that reflect seasonal produce and guest preferencesMaintain kitchen equipment and ensure the workspace is kept clean, organised and safeLiaise with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction and manage special dietary requirementsMonitor portion control and presentation standards across all dishesRespond to feedback from guests and management to continuously improve service qualityWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Chef or in a senior kitchen position within a hospitality environmentComprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and culinary best practicesStrong understanding of food safety,
