Working under the Practice Manager and Team Leader, the successful candidate will play an integral role within the team contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while providing exceptional service to patients, referrers and clinical staff.Your responsibilities will include:Greeting patients in a warm, friendly and qualified manner (exceptional customer service a must)Managing a busy appointment schedule,



including consultations and surgical bookingsHandling incoming telephone calls and patient enquiriesCoordinating theatre lists and liaising with hospitals where requiredPreparing and processing referrals, correspondence and specialist reportsManaging Medicare and private health fund billingMaintaining accurate patient records using XESTRO Practice Management SoftwareProviding administrative support to the surgeons and broader clinical teamAssisting with the efficient day-to-day running of a busy surgical practiceAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a specialist medical practice highly desirable but not essentialDemonstrated experience working in a customer focused role essentialPrevious experience within an Aesthetic / Plastic or other busy surgical specialist practice will be highly regarded but not essentialA sound understanding of Medicare and private health fund billingExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demandsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsA professional, compassionate and patient-focused approachThe ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team environmentWhat's on Offer?
