Business Administration & Compliance CoordinatorBusiness Administration & Compliance CoordinatorRECS Group Australia is a family-owned civil construction and environmental rehabilitation contractor based in Young, NSW.
We deliver civil earthworks, road construction and maintenance, environmental rehabilitation, wet hire and subdivision projects throughout regional NSW.We are seeking an organised and dependable Business Administration & Compliance Coordinator to join our team at our Young office.This is a diverse, hands‐on role supporting the financial, administrative, workforce and compliance functions of the business.
The successful applicant will work closely with the General Manager, Director, site supervisors and field personnel to help keep our projects and day‐to‐day operations running efficiently.Key responsibilitiesManaging accounts payable and accounts receivableProcessing payroll and maintaining accurate employee timekeeping recordsGeneral bookkeeping and financial administration using MYOBCoordinating employee onboarding and maintaining personnel recordsAssisting with HR administration and day‐to‐day employee mattersMonitoring HSEQ documentation and compliance requirementsMaintaining project documentation, registers and filing systemsTracking project costs and assisting with job‐cost reportingCoordinating timesheets and information with site supervisors and operatorsManaging plant, vehicle and fleet registrationsMaintaining records through Deputy, Gearbox and Microsoft 365Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to general enquiriesGreeting customers,
suppliers and visitorsProviding general administrative support to the General Manager and DirectorOccasionally travelling to project sites when requiredAbout youYou will be well suited to this position if you are organised, approachable and comfortable managing several priorities at once.The ideal applicant will have:Strong organisational and time‐management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyClear written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completionConfidence communicating with employees, supervisors, customers and suppliersGood computer skills, particularly across Microsoft 365A Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain oneExperience with MYOB, Deputy, Gearbox, payroll, bookkeeping, HR administration, HSEQ compliance or civil construction administration will be highly regarded but is not essential.
