Offering breathtaking views of Port Phillip Bay, great food, extensive wine list, great beers, excellent service and a memorable dining experience.The hotel caters for a diverse clientele with a large bistro, public bar/TAB, Gaming Room and private function room.We are looking for an Experienced Assistant Manager to join the team and assist in day to day operations of the venue and help to guide the business forward.
The position would potentially be across our 3 peninsula venues (Westernport Hotel Hastings, Kirks on the Esplanade Mornington & The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc),



the successful candidate may work across all venues at various stages of their employment.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Venue Manager in day to day operations of the venueManaging staff across all areas of the venue to ensure the provision of excellent serviceLeading by example in a hands on roleInteract with customers/staff to ensure all enquiries are handled promptlyOpening and closing venue / cash management / daily reconciliation/ running bistro servicesTo be effective in this role the successful candidate:Must have experience in hospitality managementBe available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and public holidaysShow excellent interpersonal and leadership skillsBe passionate and enthusiasticCurrent RSA and RSG Modules preferredThe role has potential growth across our growing family owned hotel group for the right candidate in future
