inspections in accordance with VicRoads requirementsIdentifying defects and preparing vehicles to meet roadworthy standardsCompleting repairs and rectification work required for roadworthy compliancePerforming vehicle safety inspections and documenting findings accuratelyLiaising with Workshop Controllers, Technicians, and Service Advisors regarding required repairsMaintaining detailed inspection records and compliance documentationEnsuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standardsSupporting pre-delivery and used vehicle preparation processes when requiredMaintaining a clean and organised work environmentWho We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience as an Automotive Technician or Roadworthy Certificate InspectorA current Victorian Roadworthy Tester Licence (highly regarded)Strong understanding of Victorian roadworthy regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent diagnostic and mechanical repair skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work efficiently in a quick-paced workshop environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsCurrent full Australian Driver's LicenceFull Australian working rightsNote: The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Check.About Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks:With close to **** team members, Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks is one of Australia's largest privately owned automotive businesses, representing brands such as Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu UTE, and more.
