We provide equipment to some of your favorite fast-food chains.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Bender with hands-on experience operating turret punch, fabrication and brake press machines.
This role is responsible for manufacturing sheet metal components to specification, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting production targets in a safe and effective manner.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, be able to read technical drawings, and have demonstrated experience setting up and operating sheet metal machinery within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate Turret Punch and Brake Press machines safely and efficientlyManufacture sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and specificationsSet up machinery and tooling for production runsPerform quality checks to ensure components meet required standardsRead and interpret technical drawings and work instructionsIdentify and report defects, machine faults, or production issuesConduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks during productionAssist with fabrication, assembly,



and handling of sheet metal productsMaintain equipment and perform routine machine checksFollow all workplace health and safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S principlesWork collaboratively with the production team to achieve production targetsComplete other duties as directed by the Production ManagerQualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience in sheet metal fabrication within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience operating Turret Punch and Brake Press machines is essentialStrong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniquesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExperience performing quality inspections and measuring fabricated componentsKnowledge of workplace health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workReliable, motivated, and committed to meeting production deadlinesPhysically capable of performing manual handling tasks and standing for extended periodsAustralian citizenship or permanent residency requiredWhat Do We OfferAt Middleby we value our team and understand that our employees are key to our success.
