This company manufactures and distributes a diverse range of food products across both retail and foodservice markets and operates within a fast-paced production environment.We are seeking a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and can contribute to keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.About the RoleWorking as part of the maintenance team on the afternoon shift, you will be responsible for ensuring plant, machinery and production equipment remain operational while minimising downtime and supporting production targets.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical faults across production linesPerform troubleshooting on pneumatic,



hydraulic and conveyor systemsAssist with basic electrical fault-finding and equipment diagnosticsConduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinerySupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliabilityEnsure maintenance records and documentation are completed accuratelyWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeAdhere to all food safety, quality and workplace safety requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter or equivalentPrevious experience in a food, beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExposure to electrical diagnostics and industrial control systemsExperience working with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings and production machineryAbility to work autonomously and prioritise maintenance tasksStrong commitment to safety and quality standardsAvailability to commence around 21st of SeptemberWhat's on Offer?
