As the role develops, you will gain exposure to more complex work, including client restructures, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), together with increased client interaction and responsibility.Key responsibilitiesPreparing Business Activity StatementsPreparing Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and companiesPreparing financial statements and associated compliance workAssisting with a range of accounting,



taxation and finance mattersLiaising with clients and responding to their accounting and taxation needsWorking both independently and collaboratively as part of the wider teamEssential skills and attributesRelevant experience in public practice accountingExperience preparing Business Activity Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and companiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service skills and a client-focused approachA bright, outgoing and confident personalityThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamExperience using MYOB and Xero Client Accounting SoftwareExperience using MYOB AE Practice SoftwareIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailThis position would suit someone seeking a stable, long-term prospect with genuine scope to develop their technical knowledge, client relationships and professional career.
