This is a permanent Assistant Accountant opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build on their accounting foundations and grow their career within a stable organisation.Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and assisting with a broad range of accounting and finance duties.




This role offers exposure across the finance function and the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a professional workplace.ResponsibilitiesOversea Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesComplete allocated Balance Sheet ReconciliationsPrepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger recordsAssist with supplier payments and maintain up-to-date accounts payable invoicesAssist with budget preparation and variance analysisRespond to internal and external queries regarding financial transactionsEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsProvide support during audit and tax engagementsPerform general administrative duties to support the finance functionAbout youPrevious experience in a similar Assistant AccountantGood work ethic, fast-learner and keen to get stuck into the role!
