Auto Ingress Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder (First Class) to join our team on a full time, ongoing basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, fabrication, welding and finishing of metal components and structures in accordance with technical drawings, specifications and job requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesStudy blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirementsSelect, clean and prepare metal stock for fabrication and weldingMeasure, mark and cut metal sections and shapes using hand tools, cutting equipment and machineryShape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine toolsAlign and position components using measuring instruments and hand toolsJoin metal sections using appropriate welding techniques, bolting and rivetingInspect completed welds for bead width, penetration, accuracy and overall qualityClean,



grind and smooth welds and completed componentsFinish fabricated products by polishing, filing and other appropriate finishing techniquesSkill & ExperienceAbout youRelevant trade qualifications in welding, fabrication or a related fieldRelevant experience working as a Welder or in a similar trade positionDemonstrated experience with metal fabrication and welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExperience using welding, cutting, grinding and metal fabrication equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality weldsA strong commitment to workplace health and safety
