Due to an increase in work in our Service department, we arecurrently seeking a trailer mechanic with experience working within the heavy transport industry.

- Strong OH&S; focus- A great work ethicYou like to Make it Happen- generally you the one who gets things done.Previous working experience as a diesel mechanic or an automotive mechanicKnowledge of pneumatic systemsKnowledge of hydraulics desirable but not requiredExperience on trailer servicing and refurbishingCurrent valid driver's licenceSuitable candidates will have a hard-working nature and want to be a part of a diverse, supportive and nurturing team workplace, a genuine interest in mechanics and the motivation to learn and provide a quality service to customers.On offer for immediate start is a casual role at our brand new production facility in a convenient Derrimut location close to Ring road.
After a two month period, a formal review will be conducted to determine whether a permanent position will be offered.
This position would suit someone looking for a stable position and the opportunity to be a part of an organisation.Your key responsibilities include but at not limited to:Meeting deadlines in appointed time framesGeneral fitting and mechanical work for trailersRepairs and maintenance of trailers including pneumaticsConducting safety/suitability tests and other system checksSuspension maintenance, repairs, and fit-outAbility to operate use tools and machinery accurately
