In this role, you'll work closely with our nursing staff to provide safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients and their families during a critical time in their health journey.
As a PCA, you will support the delivery of clinical care under the supervision of registered nurses.
This role requires flexibility, with shifts scheduled across mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care and support as directed by the registered nurseMonitor and report changes in patient conditionAssist with maintaining a clean and comfortable patient environmentRespond to patient and family enquiries, escalating as appropriateUphold patient privacy, dignity, and cultural sensitivitiesAbout YouA qualification in Health Services Assistance or equivalent (as outlined in the position description)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary teamProfessionalism and discretion when handling sensitive situationsPrevious experience in an acute hospital setting (highly regarded)What we offerSalary packaging: up to $15,900 tax-free each year, plus $**** meal & entertainment card benefitsConvenience: Vibrant Malvern location,
