Lode Pies and Pastries Pty Ltd operates multiple locations across Sydney, including Surry Hills, Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Rozelle and Chatswood.
n The business is currently seeking an experienced Baker to join its team and contribute to the preparation, baking and consistent production of high-quality baked goods.
n Key Responsibilities

n

n
Preparing and baking a range of breads and other baked products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
n
Measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients to prepare doughs and other bakery products.
n
Kneading, cutting, shaping and preparing dough for baking.
n
Monitoring proving and fermentation processes to achieve consistent results.
n
Operating ovens and monitoring baking times and temperatures.
n
Checking finished products for quality, consistency, texture and appearance.
n
Monitoring ingredient levels and assisting with stock control and ordering.
n
Ensuring ingredients and finished products are stored appropriately.
n




Maintaining bakery equipment, tools and preparation areas in a clean and safe condition.
n
Complying with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
n

About You nn
At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Baker or in a similar baking role.
n
Practical experience in preparing, shaping, proving and baking dough-based products.
n
Valuable knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and production processes.
n
Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality standards.
n
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a busy food production workplace.
n
Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
n
