Forklift Drivers– Ongoing Opportunities - BendigoAbout the RoleRegular manual handling and repetitive movementPallet building and movementWorking in chilled and cool room storage areasMeeting daily dispatch deadlinesStanding and staying physically active throughout your shiftWorking as part of a fast-paced team environmentMultiple roster options are available, including:Monday to Friday&Wednesday; to SundayMorning shift - 5:00am – 1:00pmAfternoon shift - 1:00pm – 9:00pmNight shift - 8:00pm – 4:00amKey ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely and efficiently to move stock, pallets and materials throughout the warehouseLoad and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacksTransport incoming raw materials, packaging and finished goods to designated storage areasSafely stack, move and position pallets within warehouse and cool room locationsPick and stage stock for dispatch while ensuring correct quantities and product identificationReplenish warehouse locations and maintain accurate stock rotationAssist with loading vehicles and preparing orders for dispatchMaintain secure forklift operating practices around pedestrians,



racking and other equipmentWork safely in chilled and cool room environmentsKeep warehouse and forklift operating areas clean, organised and free from hazardsIdentify and report damaged stock, pallets, equipment or workplace hazardsFollow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, traffic management and workplace safety proceduresWhat We're Looking ForReliable and punctualPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handlingComfortable with repetitive work and standing for extended periodsComfortable working in cold and chilled environmentsSafety-focused and willing to follow workplace proceduresStrong team player with good communication skillsFlexible and willing to work different shiftsCommitted to ongoing workReliable transport to and from site, as public transport is not availableHighly RegardedCurrent forklift licenceWarehouse experienceDispatch or logistics experienceFood manufacturing experienceManufacturing or production experienceInventory or stock management experienceExperience working in chilled or cold storage environments
