Foundry Hotel Complex - Functions & Bistro CoordinatorPart Time or Full Time | Hospitality & EventsWe are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Functions & Bistro Coordinator to join our team.This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for hospitality and events, and can confidently manage bookings and customer enquiries through to the delivery of successful functions and bistro services.About the RoleWorking across our Functions and Bistro operations, you will be responsible for managing bookings, assisting customers, coordinating events and supporting the day-to-day running of the venue.Your responsibilities will include:Managing functions bookings from initial enquiry through to completionManaging bistro bookings and customer enquiriesProviding friendly and professional bistro serviceSelling and coordinating functions,



including:Taking enquiries and converting bookingsFunction planning and coordinationSetting up and packing downHosting functions and ensuring a great customer experienceRostering and coordinating staffHandling phone and general customer enquiriesAssisting the Venue Manager with various ad hoc operational dutiesSupporting CRM and member administrationBuilding strong relationships with customers, members and the wider teamAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced in hospitality, functions, events or customer serviceHighly organised and able to manage multiple bookings and prioritiesConfident communicating with customers both in person and over the phoneFriendly, professional and customer-focusedComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamProactive, reliable and willing to get hands-onAble to coordinate staff and manage the details that make an event run smoothlyHospitality or functions experience is highly regarded, but attitude, organisation and excellent customer service are equally important.What We OfferPart-time opportunity that could eventuate to a full-time employmentA varied role across hospitality, functions and eventsThe prospect to be part of a friendly and dynamic teamA role where no two days are quite the sameNote: Only short listed applicants will be contacted.
